Famous lyricist turned debut director in Kannada Kaviraj for prestigious banner Toogudeepa Productions has given invitation to his real life marriage to a few persons and got married in ‘Mantra Mangalya’ system of Rashtrakavi Kuvempu.

He is not doing like that for his first cinema ‘Madhuveya Mamateya Kareyole’. Of course the title brings in lot of smile on the face. Kaviraj earned place in the hearts of millions of music lovers from his lyrics is sure to attract from his film as a whole.

Four songs for this film ‘MMK’ are penned by debut director Kaviraj. In life the marriage should not be taken lightly, it is the dream of every individual. Settling down in life is this marriage. Versatile actor Ananthnag has approved the film with good signs. The team of Toogudeepa Productions thought of making another ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ in Kannada. Kaviraj is very confident of reach such heights.

The script of this film was in Kaviraj mind for a long time. With lot of excitement I have done a few more scripts for the film. From the second week of final script, I used to make interrogation with the script. when questions cropped it obviously it got answers. The refinement in script was possible like that.

A dream should not allow you to sleep. It should haunt all places and time. Such a dream is this ‘MMK’, the script has literally pulled me to come before the camera.

Entertainment is the main focus and it will not go down in any scene. There is also a message that could be incorporated. That would also lead to beautiful life.

This is a love story of a boy and girl played by heartthrob Amoolya and newcomer Sooraj. There is Ananthnag as emotions stealing master. Chitra Shenoy, Achyuth Kumar, Sangeetha, Sharat Lohitashva, Shobaraj, Bullet Prakash, Sadhu Kokila, Chikkanna, Sunder, Shalini of TV serial has acted for the first time in this film after a long journey in ‘Papa Pandu’.

The film shoot was held in Malaysia Lanka Vee. After three years this was open to shoot. Reaching the spot in cable car was tough. We blocked the entire place for one day. Putrajaya the administrative office cooperated remembers Kaviraj.

For allowing me to take up such a mammoth project I am indebted to Challenging star Darshan, Dinakar and Smt Meena Toogudeepa Srinivas. I had to think of only direction. Not even a small disturbance was there.

The film ‘MMK’ is slated for release in the month of December or early January 2016.
